Wandering around with my mom at tHe Spring, a whole lot of boxes on WonderToys' shelf caught our eyes and we got attracted and went closer to the self and both of us were amazed to find Sylvanian Families here
Sadly, both of us did not bring that much money to afford the doll house while dad does not approve that we buy such a doll house +_+
We went home without the doll house and both of us thought out lots of plans to "smuggle" the doll house after buying it somehow I guess my dad had knew it and the next morning, he actually approve it and agrees to bring us to tHe Spring to buy the doll house n_n

I just realized that the doll house's box was big which is quite impossible for me to "smuggle" it home =_='''

The back view shows how the doll house can be decorated

Lovely view of the doll house was placed on the side view of the box

Another side view shows how the doll house can be assembled n_^

Among all the doll house design, this one was the only one that satisfy me for it can be closed to look like a normal model house like this

or it can be open to look like this

I prefer this type compared to the others for it does not give the feeling of "incomplete" whereby for the other doll house, they have made it just "cut-off" at the back for people to decorate it but then, I think the whole structure of the doll house is what I want to look at and not just the front view *o*

Temporarily, I'm rather busy with assignments and final exams and hence, I have found a just-nice-space for my lovely doll house to stay n_n

I have transferred some furniture from the wedding chapel for I do not have much of a good plan to decorate my doll house so temporarily my bunny family have to bare with the furniture that I have for them =_=

Kawaii-ne~
These are some little toddlers that my mom bought for my doll house

Ralphina and Bunny-chan tagged along to play at the doll house but seems like only Bunny-chan can fit into the doll house while Ralphina is almost the height of the doll house

Ralphina seems to get along with the bunny family

How cute Ralphina cuddling baby bunny

The doll house also comes with this Japanes story book about the doll house *o*

Sadly, the whole book is in Japanese so I could not read a word of it but I kinda understand a little about the story through the illustrations +_+

On the other hand, Ralphina and Bunny-chan are planning which furniture to buy next for the doll house

I usually browse for Pullip dolls on ebay.com, blogs and some online shops and my first shopping experience has lead me to confusion towards the acronyms and termynologies that sellers used to decribe the dolls that they are selling =_=''' Guess what, I thought OOAK was some company name and the seller pointed out that it means One-Of-A-Kind (OOAK) *o* I would like to share these acronyms and termynologies so that it would minimize the confusion like what I have faced when shopping online for Pullips >_<'''

Being an amateur in collecting Pullip dolls, there are lots to learn from Pullip forums, collectors' blogs and some specialized websites for Pullips *o*

Before I ordered my Ralphina, I found out that there are 4 different types of body that Pullips have and got confused with it but I was rather busy and did not go further into these details =3="' Well today, I spent some time to find out the types of body that Pullips have since there is a short holiday for me to study for my exams n_n

I hope that these body comparisons that I've found from various websites will help everyone especially when it comes to changing their bodies n_^

Type 1

Type 1 which the very first type of body used for Pullip bodies in year 2003. Compared to the 3 other types of body later, they have larger bust, longer legs and visible screws as seen in the picture above. Besides that, according to most comments, they have delicate necks which owners need to take precaution when helding them. It is interesting to know that Type 1 Pullip's wig is the rooted type which can be complicated when it comes to changing their wigs compared to the unrooted wigs.

Type 2

In 2004, they have made an improvement to the Pullip bodies whereby Type 2 Pullip have greater flexibility and articulation (joint structure). Furthermore, they do not have those visible screws like Type 1 and more realistic body body propotion. However, Type 2 body is known as "tummy pop" whereby on the tummy part, it looks as if they have "gained" some "fat"... Moreover, they are more poseable but it is commented to have the tendency of lose joints over-time and their hands fall off easily. Apart from that, the first few have rooted wigs untill Pullip Nomadow which is the end of rooted wigs.

Type 3

Type 3 started with Lan Ai and Lan Ake in 2005 which was made sturdier to have the "child like" look. Compared to Type 2, Type 3 is least poseable and according to Fashion Dolls Australia, starting from Barasuishou Pullip onwards, they have the tendency of wrist-cracking risks. Besides that, they have less articulation.

Type 4

Good news came in 2009 when Pullip Neo Noir was released with a new body which is Type 4 body. Type 4 have better articulation which makes their body movements look more natural for they no longer have 360 degree body twist and now they can sit with their legs close. Though they are not prone to wrist-crack like Type 3 but they have some weakness whereby their hands can fall out easily while the lower-half of their leg can "slip out" easily from the knee joint. Additionally, their knee can crack while their arm and calf can fall out easily as well.

Every Type of Pullip bodies has their own advantages and flaws as well but the main thing is learn from their flaws and take precautions when handling the them to avoid unwanted problems Do not fear of the flaws that they have but live with them for that's how I made my decision when I ordered Ralphina and go to forums or blogs to get to know more about the things that Pullip owners faced and learn from them and enjoy collecting Pullip dolls

Today my club has organized a dango making event and I brought Ralphina along to make her own little dango

Ralphina brought her little bunny along in her pink carriage

Taking a small pinch of dango dough from mine which she started to make a flatten round shaped as the dango skin
Looking good with her first dango making
Wrapping the chocolate paste with her little green dango dough

TAADDAA!
A cute little snowy green dango ♥♥

Bunny-chan got closer to look at Ralphina's masterpiece

Ralphina: Wanna try some?
Bunny-chan: Thanks but I have a whole carrot to finish up n_n

Looks a lot small if compared to mine n_n'''

Enjoying her handmade dango
♥Yummy

Each has their own wonderful food to enjoy for the dango event

The other day when I went to Book Castle (a bookstore selling all-second-handed books) and I found a lovely pop-up dollhouse placed on the top of the book shelve but unfortunately, it was not for sale and so yesterday when I went to a nearby restaurant to have my lunch, I dropped by Book Castle to take some pictures of this lovely antique dollhouse So lets look at the lovely dollhouse

Ground Floor: Study Room

Upper Floor: Bedroom

Ground Floor: The Dinning Room

Upper Floor: The Bathroom

Ground Floor: The Kitchen

Upper Floor: Another Bedroom (probably the maid's room for it looks smaller)

Ground Floor: The Staircase Hall Way

Upper Floor: The Hall

This dollhouse looks like the antique pop-up dollhouse that I see in my book of dollhouse and how I wish if I can make them in 1/6 scale to fit my dolls in

Making clothes for doll's closet since I got rid of my fear for dolls and I've finally finished making modifying my Re-ment yukata into a waloli which took me a week (including my time for my assignments and other activities else I can finish it in a day or two)

I did not have a sewing machine (might buy if I make more clothes) and hence, during busy times for assignment, modifying is more suitable for me to handmade a new dress for my little darlings

Image taken from ebay.com
Instead of making a waloli from scratch, I bought Re-ment's Girly Style yukata to modify it into a waloli and it took me few simple sewing steps to turn it into a waloli but unfortunately I was not able to take any pictures of the modifying steps for I only sew the waloli skirt when I'm free after my assignments =_='''

Finally finished it after modifying and correcting some error parts of the skirt

Coordinated it with my newly bought pink lacey boots and red-striped socks from cool-cat from ebay which matches with her waloli

Gave her a little rabbit plush to accompany her before I get a new sister for her

Yesterday I've receive a small little package from cool cat, Taipei which is for Ralphina n_n

Her pink boots has finally arrived n_n *excited*

I was surprised to see a pair of stripe pink socks when I turn the package around *o*

Not one but two pairs of stripe socks which are gifts from cool cat

The boots were packed nicely in transparent boxes which fit them just right

Asides of the boots and socks, they have included a precaution note and a lovely thank you note

How I hope that holiday will come sooner so that I can have some time to snap shot Ralphina in her new boots =_='''
